Came here during a holiday and was able to get seated quickly during tea time. I got the Singapore style hainan chicken and rice and Malaysian style BBQ pork and rice. Both dishes were delicious. For the drinks, I ordered the hot lemon tea and milk tea. Both teas were good. The milk tea came in small teacup and was on the heavy side. They refill on these. They have heaters if you are seated outdoors, which was great. I'm glad I got to try this place out. The customer service is great. The restaurant is nice, clean and cozy. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here. I can't wait to come back during dinner time since the menu changes. Free street parking.

We came here to sign up the queue and found out that you could just do it by yelp’s app for faster seating. Mostly seating are for two or four. There seems a section that could accommodate larger party like 5 or 6 people. A lot of families came too. We already came couple times before. It actually has been our favorite place for laksa noodle soup. I like its flavorful soup and very bouncy noodle texture. Also included a lot of fried tofu boiled egg shrimp and fish balls. We had already tried stew beef with bread so this time we tried fried beef with wide rice noodles also sweet buns with butter. Both were great. For drinks you could customize the sugar levels. Our favorite dish is fried chicken wings in peppercorn and salt flavors. Also waiters were always friendly and courteous. The only things was it could be a bit of noisy since everyone was talking loudly and sometimes seating was very close.

First time visiting and one thing to know! Join the waitlist before you actually get here!! We didn’t know and waited two hours But the food didn’t disappoint me. We tried their laksa noodle, chicken curry, Kaya butter toast and roti! Everything was on point and delicious! I love their Kaya and Butter toast. It’s so simple but so flavorful

Authentic Malaysian/Singaporean breakfast spot with great combo prices (12-15 bucks for a set with an entree, a drink - all kinds of kopi, and complementary pastry of choice — ranging from Kaya toast, pandan cake, to pineapple buns). We ordered three sets, giving us a chance to try instant noodles with curry pork skin, nasi lemak with curry fish balls and Malaysian sticky rice with chicken. All the dishes hit the spot and are reminiscent of what you would get in the region locally. Definitely need to come back to try the lunch, which seems to be popular!

Came here for lunch. I've been when it first opened, since then they had picked up 3 Michelin Bib Gourmand awards. This is a nice Malaysian comfort food café, so don't expect immaculate service. The staff is very nice, friendly and multi lingual. The food, however, is excellent. I ordered the Roti Cenai and Hainan chicken rice (to go) and the Hokkien Prawn noodle soup and Malaysian milk tea for dining in. The broth is amazing, the noodles are not soggy, the water spinach (kangkung) is fresh and crisp and the shrimp is good as well. It seems the Hainan chicken rice is rather popular. Will find out how it compares to Savoy. I got seated right away, however as I was leaving there was a line outside at 1pm.

My go-to spot for authentic Hainan chicken rice and white coffee! This restaurant never fails to deliver - the chicken is always tender, flavorful, and perfectly poached. The rice is fragrant and infused with just the right amount of chicken stock. And the white coffee? Divine! Smooth, creamy, and not too sweet. It's the perfect complement to their delicious Hainan chicken. The service is always friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. If you're a fan of Hainan chicken or great coffee, this spot is a must-visit!

Found the best hainan chicken in LA, endorsed by friends from Singapore and Malaysia! The chicken was tender, can go with any combinations of the three sauces. The rice absorbed the chicken soup and was so flavorful. The Rendang beef and Roti Canai were great too! Very reasonable price too. It’s a Da Pai Dang feel, so don’t expect something fancy.

This restaurant is Michelin Guide 2024 and it definitely deserves it. The food doesn't have plenty of selection but everything is very tasty. You can try everything and it will taste good. The toast is what you should try as dessert instead of appetizers since it's pretty sweet and perfect after a meal. Plenty of parking in the parking structure behind the plaza. Seats can be limited so expect a wait line. Once you are in, the food comes out pretty fast. It's a handicap friendly facility.
